Service Opportunity

Food For All Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry serves about 200 recipients per month. We can always use volunteers to help. The Food Pantry is open at the church from 12:30 to 4pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

Welcoming the Season of Lent

Lenten Bible Study

Our Lenten study is The Final Days: A Lenten Journey through the Gospels by Matt Rawle.


We meet in person after worship on Sundays until about 1pm. We will also meet via Zoom beginning March 4 at 7pm. Install Zoom on your phone or computer and contact the church so we can send you the Zoom link.

For Senior Adults

Eldersgate

Eldersgate Senior Adult Ministries coordinates a monthly event at Aldersgate with a lunch and keynote speaker. Topics vary month to month but have included senior safety, guests from the Toledo Area Metroparks, and more. Contact the Church Office or email Barb Myers for additional information about our next event.

Music Ministry

Music is a large part of worship life at Aldersgate. We have a traditional choir, a handbell choir, and contemporary praise band, The Fire Within, all coordinated by our Director of Music, Jacob Smith. If you would like to be a part of our music ministry, contact Jacob by clicking below.

Bible Studies

Aldersgate offers multiple Bible studies on a variety of subjects on weekdays and Sundays including a Wednesday night women’s study at 7pm, a Sunday morning study at 9:30am, seasonal studies for Lent and Advent after worship on Sundays, and more. Email the church if you have questions.

Senior Ministries

Aldersgate’s senior outreach ministry “Eldersgate” provides year-round gathering and social opportunities for senior adults, including euchre gatherings and Eldersgate monthly lunch-and-learn sessions (boxed lunches available for a small fee). UMM

UMM (United Methodist Men) offers support, outreach, and events for the greater Toledo community, as well as small group gatherings for prayer and devotions. The Men’s Group coordinates monthly community dinners that feed on average 80 people, a summer BBQ, and they help support other church ministries. Click below to learn more.

UWF

UWF (United Women in Faith) gather for devotionals and prayer and raise funds to support outreach ministries at Aldersgate and in the greater Toledo community.
